Sabra LaVaun Romero produces timeless images by using a variety of light sources and combining contemporary visuals with hints of traditional photographic technique. Her interest in photography began as a teenager, when she became intrigued with sharing the beauty that can be seen throughout the unique culture and landscape within her hometown, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
She enhanced her passion by achieving a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Mexico in Art Photography and English, Creative Writing. Wanting to expand her knowledge and strengthen her skills as a photographer, she attended and graduated from Brooks Institute where she immersed herself into the technical and commercial world of photography.
Still residing in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Sabra LaVaun Romero travels throughout New Mexico and the Southwest leading her to venture into a variety of photographic genres, including portrait, wedding, event, commercial product, architecture, and food photography. As she expands into the commercial world, she always incorporates her fine art background within her final imagery. She loves the texture, beauty, and detail that can be seen through the lens of a camera.
